Hatiya's students in Dhaka gather under one roof for the annual iftar

HCFD's annual iftar gathering brought together current students, alumni and well-wishers from Hatiya who were staying in Dhaka through Ramadan.

Current students were introduced to alumni now established in a range of professions. The forum noted that these introductions are what later grow into its internship and career advice network.

A support fund was announced at the gathering for students from families affected by river erosion on the island.
